Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I move in?
Every home comes ready to go with a refrigerator, oven, air conditioning, and cable access, plus use of the on-site laundry room.
Most residents move in about 48 to 72 hours after the application is approved, the deposit is paid, and the lease is signed. When your paperwork comes in early, we can often speed that up.
Which floor plans are available and what do they rent for?
Morse Creek is a two-bedroom community. The 2-bed/1-bath apartment, roughly 1,100 square feet, starts at $1,200 a month, and the townhome-style 2-bed/1.5-bath home at Morse Creek Commons starts at $1,300 a month.
What are the lease terms and deposits?
The 2-bed/1-bath rents from $1,200 a month, with a $1,200 refundable deposit equal to one month of rent.
The 2-bed/1.5-bath townhome rents from $1,300 a month, with a matching $1,300 refundable deposit.
Every lease depends on an approved application, the $50.00 non-refundable application fee, and a completed screening. Leases usually run 12 months, and renewals are available.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is $50.00 per adult and it is non-refundable.
What do I need to qualify?
Plan on gross monthly income of at least 3 times the rent, so about $3,600 a month for the 2-bed/1-bath and roughly $3,900 a month for the townhome. We ask for proof of income when you apply.
We also look for no recent evictions, no criminal background, and solid credit. Everyone 18 and older who will live in the home fills out an application and goes through screening.
Is internet and cable available?
Yes. The homes are cable-ready and set up for high-speed internet. You arrange and pay for the service with whichever provider you prefer.
Can I have a pet?
No dogs or cats are permitted.
Verified service and assistance animals are accommodated as required by law.
Which utilities are included?
Trash service is included in the rent.
Residents cover the rest, meaning electric, water and sewer, and internet or cable.
How far is the airport?
John Glenn Columbus International Airport is roughly 16 minutes away in normal traffic.
